 FAQs

  • Yes. If you shoot in your camera's LOG profile and apply the correct LUT for your camera, you'll be at 90% publish-ready immediately. The remaining 10% is minor tweaks (exposure, white balance) based on your specific lighting — usually just a few minutes, depending on how detailed you want to be.

    Each camera has its own optimized LUT (.cube) file.

  • Any software that supports .cube LUTs — Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Lumafusion, CapCut, and more.

    Unlike PowerGrades (DaVinci-only), CY Color works everywhere.

  • No, CY Color is designed for LOG footage to give you maximum dynamic range and flexibility.

    If you're shooting standard profiles, the LUTs may look over-processed.

    Shoot LOG for best results.

  • If your camera shoots in a LOG profile, try the closest match (e.g., Panasonic V-Log users can try Sony S-Log). Most LOG profiles are similar enough that one of the 5 will work.
